That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life...

Deception

Sometimes it amazes me the things people who call themselves Christians fall for.  Can they really be that deceived?  It makes me wonder if they even read their Bibles?!

I know there are many, MANY sincere followers of Christ in the world, but a look at the church "in general" reveals so much worldliness, hypocrisy, sin, pragmatism, apathy, and disinterest in living a holy, separated life that it can get very discouraging.

Ooops!  Did I just say "separated"??  *gasp*!  If you want to know how far gone many churches are, just start talking about separation when you're around other Christians and you'll see.  I don't necessarily mean separation in the sense of not fellowshipping with other denominations (although, that is Scriptural in many cases), but even just the concept of being separate from sin or from the world.  It's a totally foreign to a lot of Christians.

I light of the deception that's rampant in Christian circles today, I thought this was a great article that put many things into a good perspective.  Please read and enjoy! *
