Can someone really come back to life after they die? All human reasoning says "NO"... such a thing is impossible!
And yet that is what Easter Sunday is all about. Easter Sunday is actually Resurrection Sunday for the Christian. It is the day we remember the death, burial, and most of all the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The fact of Jesus' resurrection is what sets Christianity apart from all other religions and belief systems. Because Jesus is alive the Christian has salvation, forgiveness, mercy, redemption, hope, and peace. No other person in history has done what Jesus did. No other person in history can do what Jesus did. He was the only person to walk this earth and not sin. He was the only one who could take the punishment for our sin. I praise the Lord for the cross of Christ!
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
